A quiet place of meditation and Prayer - Saint-Girons

This is a place of worship for pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela, the crypt of Hagetmau, was built for the preservation and veneration of the relics of St Girons. It is reached by two lateral staircases constructed in the thick walls. In the centre, four marble columns surround the slightly raised ground where the tomb of St Girons was installed. Admire the fourteen remarkable capitals surrounding the crypt.
